Window and patio door cleaning
Streak-free glass, clean frames and tracks that slide: for windows and shop fronts reachable from the ground, a balcony or a stepladder.

Frame first, squeegee second
A window is cleaned starting with what surrounds it. First we dust the frame and track, where dust, leaves and insects build up; otherwise the first splash of water turns them into mud that runs down the glass. Then we wet the pane with a strip washer and a lightly soapy solution, squeegee it in overlapping strokes, and wipe the squeegee blade after each one. Seals and corners are finished with a microfibre cloth.
The Toulouse sun has a direct consequence: a window washed in full sun dries before it's squeegeed and keeps streaks. So we start with the shaded sides and follow the sun round, or choose the time of day accordingly.
We work on windows reachable from the ground, a balcony, a terrace or a stepladder: windows and French windows, sliding patio doors, ground-floor shop fronts, ground-level conservatories, mirrors and glass partitions. Building facades, roof glazing and windows that need a cherry picker or scaffolding are not part of our services.
Windows: your questions
Why are there streaks when I do it myself?
Usually because of too much product, a cloth that leaves fibres, or glass drying too fast in the sun. A squeegee, used on a still-wet pane and wiped after each stroke, avoids all three.
Do you clean shop windows?
Yes, ground-floor shop fronts, inside and out, along with the entrance door. For a shop, a regular schedule is often more useful than a big clean every now and then.
Do you clean the outside of upstairs windows?
Yes, if they open inwards or a balcony gives access. A fixed pane on an upper floor, which can't be reached without working-at-height equipment, is excluded.
