A check-out inspection looks where nobody looks
An empty home shows everything. The check-out inspection (the French "état des lieux de sortie") compares each room with its condition when you moved in, and it's rarely the big surfaces that cause trouble: it's the limescale around the taps, a blackened shower seal, a hood greasy right through to the filter, an oven left greasy, fingermarks around light switches, dust in the window tracks and on top of the cupboards.
So we work in this order: kitchen and appliances first, then bathroom and toilet, the high places, the inside of cupboards and drawers, doors and skirting boards, windows and their tracks, and the floors as we leave each room. The home must be cleared of furniture and boxes for the result to be complete.

End of tenancy and moving: your questions
Does the home need to be completely empty?
For a full move-out clean, yes: furniture and boxes hide precisely the spots the inspection checks. If a few pieces remain, we clean around them, but the result can't be the same.
Do you work for landlords and letting agencies?
Yes. Between two tenants, before a property goes up for rent or before viewings, we clean the home for the landlord or for the agency managing it.
When should the clean be booked relative to the inspection?
As close to the date as possible, once the last boxes have gone: the day before or that same morning if the schedule allows. A home cleaned a week earlier gathers dust again.
Are marked walls included?
The clean removes everyday marks around switches and handles. Yellowed or grimy walls call for wall washing, which can be added to the quote.
