Event cleaning: before, during and after

Trade show, seminar, wedding, company party: a venue ready when the doors open, kept tidy during the reception, left clean when the last guest leaves.

Reception room after an event, a cleaner clearing the tables

Three stages, three sets of tasks

  1. 1

    Before

Floors, tables, toilets and entrance made ready, bins and bags in place, consumables stocked.

  2. 2

    During

Regular rounds of the toilets, bins emptied before they overflow, floors gone over in high-traffic areas.

  3. 3

    After

Clearing, waste sorting, washing the floors, toilets and catering kitchen, venue handed back to the owner.

The event sets the timetable, not us

An event dictates its own hours. A venue is prepared that morning or the day before, kept up for several hours, and handed back often late at night or the next morning, sometimes on a Sunday or a public holiday. We work those slots, and we rotate our staff so someone is present throughout.

During the reception, the work is discreet: toilets checked and restocked, bins changed before they overflow, glasses and litter collected around the venue, floors gone over near the buffets. Afterwards, the pace changes: clearing, sorting, a full wash, then a walk round the venue with you or the venue manager, so its condition on leaving matches what was expected.

We work for businesses, associations and private individuals renting a venue around Toulouse, as well as for venue managers themselves. The number of staff and the hours are decided at the visit, according to guest numbers and duration.

FAQ

Event cleaning: your questions

Can you work late in the evening or on a Sunday?

Yes. Evenings, weekends and public holidays are precisely when events take place: we work those slots, on quotation.

How many staff should we plan for?

It depends on the number of guests, the floor area, the number of toilets and the duration. We work it out when we visit the venue, so there are neither too many nor too few.

Can you hand the venue back to the owner on our behalf?

We do the final walk-round with the venue manager if they wish. That saves you coming back the next day for the check-out.

An event in the planning?

Date, venue, number of guests and timings: we come and see the venue and give you a free quote.
